Post Office Raises Prices

The United States Postal Service (USPS) will be raising their rates this month. According to information that was released on the USPS website, on April 6, the United States Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) of price changes to take effect July 10.

Meridian Technology Center STEM Program Recognized at National Level for Fifth Consecutive Year

Sit, Stay, Read and Mineral Wells Cleanup with the Guthrie Library

Kris Kutay led story time in Mineral Wells Park last Wednesday. The group was reading about oceans and how to keep them safe and clean, as part of their Ocean of Possibilities summer program. Kutay led the children and their parents in a park cleanup, picking up trash before enjoying the splash pad.

Maudi Hirschi Shelter Receives Kiwanis Donation

The Maudi Hirschi Youth Shelter received a $1000 donation from the Guthrie Kiwanis Club. William Alexander, Executive Director of Logan County Community Services, also announced that he is stepping down after nine years. Hunter Holder to take over.
