Schemm charged with murder

Logan County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) responded to a 911 call Wednesday night at 560 Ruth Lane in Crescent at 6:15 p.m. on an alleged home invasion and murder. That call has led to a first-degree murder charge being filed against Mark Schemm, 52, of the same address. The victim is Monica Schemm, 49 of the same address. Logan Sheriff Jim Baumann and Sheriff’s investigator Tom Kutay responded to the scene and called the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) for assistance.
