Maddox Vaughan knew what was coming long before it arrived. Prior to the start of his senior year at Guthrie High School, the standout football and baseball player began to prepare himself for the end.

County Recovers $124K in Back Taxes Through Property Auction

Tim Willert, correspondent Logan County has recovered more than $124,000 in unpaid taxes from the sale of more than four dozen lots, tracts, houses and parcels at a public auction earlier this month. Treasurer Sherri Longnecker said the county collected $741,511.

County approves interlocal agreement with City of Guthrie

The Logan County Board of Commissioners on Monday approved an interlocal cooperation agreement with the City of Guthrie for providing Emergency Management services to the City for Fiscal Year 20262027 in the amount of $15,500.00.
