As anticipation builds for the start of the fall sports season, Bluejay fans will have their first opportunity to meet the student-athletes who will represent Guthrie High School during the annual Meet the Bluejays event.
The evening begins with a community tailgate at 4:30 p.m., sponsored by John Vance Auto Group. Fans can enjoy a hamburger while visiting with fellow Bluejay supporters before the spotlight turns to the athletes.
Beginning at 6 p.m., every Bluejay team and its student-athletes will be introduced, giving the community a chance to recognize the players, coaches and support staff ahead of the new season.
The annual event has become a tradition for Guthrie athletics, bringing together students, families, alumni and fans to celebrate Bluejay pride and officially usher in another year of competition. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or attending for the first time, Meet the Bluejays offers an opportunity to rally behind Guthrie’s athletes as they prepare to represent the school throughout the fall season.
