Guthrie Public Schools will have a change in instructional time for the upcoming school year due to new state regulations.Beginning this school year, instructional time for all Guthrie public schools will be from 8:10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

County approves City of Langston inter local agreement for road work

The Guthrie Chamber of Commerce held its annual Legislative Luncheon on July 28th, 2026 at the Meridian Technology Center. Giving members of the local business community a chance to hear directly from the state lawmakers who represent the area and to ask questions about issues facing the region.

The Logan County 4-H State STEM Innovators hosted STEM Day on July 17, 2026. The STEM Innovators taught about wildlife and fisheries, geology, and meteorology. In Jimmy Ferguson’s workshop, participants made pop can fishing rigs, and learned how to identify common plants and fish in Oklahoma.
