Gas Price Update

Average gasoline prices in Oklahoma have fallen 17.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.16/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,294 stations in Oklahoma. Prices in Oklahoma are 43.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand $1.30/g higher than a year ago.

Oklahoma hospitals meet 96 % influenza vaccine challenge

Thirty-two Oklahoma hospitals and hospital specialty units have met a challenge from the Oklahoma Hospital Association to achieve a health care worker influenza vaccination rate of 96% or higher during the 2021-2022 flu season including Mercy Hospital Logan County, Guthrie.

Protect horses by scouting alfalfa for blister beetles

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma producers, especially those in the northeastern part of the state, should watch out for blister beetles in their alfalfa this summer. If a horse eats a blister beetle when snacking on alfalfa hay, the consequences can be deadly.

Logan County Commissioners Accept $74,000 Donation

The Logan County Board of Commissioners met last Friday in order to discuss future improvements to the Logan County community. A $74,000 donation has been approved unanimously by the Logan County Commissioners.

Peters’ $200,000 Bond Set After Assault on Homeowner and Police

Jordan Michael Peters, age 37, was taken to Logan County jail after attacking female homeowner S.H. with a hammer and barricading himself in the attic space of her home in the 1300 block of East Cleveland Avenue. Peters’ arraignment was on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Logan County Courthouse.
