Guthrie Woman Suspected Victim of Homicide

Sunday night around 9:45 p.m. officers were in the area of NW 36th and N Grand Blvd when they spotted a vehicle driving erratically. Police were able to make a traffic stop on the vehicle in the OnCue parking lot on NW 36th and May.

 Information Technology student Ethan McGuire won first place in the Action Skills contest at the recent SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Contest.     The contest requires a five- to seven-minute demonstration of occupational skills related to a student’s training area.

Sasser Promoted to Vice President of Lending & Collections

F&M Bank is pleased to announce that Steve Sasser has been promoted to Vice President of Lending & Collections. Steve joined the team at F&M Bank Guthrie in 2016. Steve graduated with honors from the University of Texas-Permian Basin with a degree in Criminology and Psychology.

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Meridian Technology Center STEM Academy was named a Distinguished High School by Project Lead the Way (PLTW) for its Biomedical Sciences and Pre-Engineering programs. This is the fifth year in a row that the school has received this designation.
