Bluejay Football Home Opener Tomorrow

After an off season of court battles and district realignments the football season opens tomorrow night in Jelsma Stadium. The Tuttle Tigers will provide the opposition for the non-district game. Kick-off is 7 p.m.

Back to School Bash at Mulhall-Orlando

As Summer comes to a close and students are headed back to class, the Mulhall-Orlando FFA Officers kicked off the year with a Back To School Bash on Aug. 18 at Camp Twin Cedars in Guthrie.

City Council selects Kaley Mills as new Ward 1 member.

The Guthrie City Council Tuesday selected Kaley Mills as its newest council person.Mills was one of three candidates that applied to replace Ward 1 Councilman Jim Case who resigned in July.She will fill in the remainder of the term that expires May 4, 2025.

The Guthrie Rotary Student of the Week is Raley Hooper. She is the daughter of Kristen Hooper. Raley is the Student Body President. She is active in choir, Pied Pipers, Student Council, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, FCA, Cross Country, Track and Bluejay crew.

Whether you want to develop your career or learn a new hobby, Meridian Technology Center is offering classes to help you do what you love. Meridian’s campuses will host several courses in business, cooking, computers, health and photography. Both daytime and evening classes are offered.
