Sherman Lewis Elected Chair of Langston Board of Trustees

Langston University alumnus Sherman Lewis was elected as Chair of the Langston University Board of Trustees for Urban Campuses during its meeting Friday, Aug. 2, 2024.Lewis was unanimously elected to the position by a vote of 6-0, with two members of the board absent.

It has been three weeks since Genna Husman went missing, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the 15-year-old. Genna disappeared from Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 26, 2024.

Hopkins Family Reunion 2024

The first Hopkins Family Reunion was 20 years ago on August 7, 2004 at Highland Park in Guthrie. It was organized by Willard (Hop) Hopkins and wife Patsie. Patsie has continued to organize and help with the reunion after the passing of Willard.
