Four Bluejays Qualify for State Tennis Tournament

Isaiah Dearman and Broderric Hansen placed third in No. 2 doubles, while Carson Olmsted and Jaxson Mayer finished second in No. 1 doubles. All four athletes qualified for the State Tournament, set for Friday and Saturday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.

GHS Girls Golf Perform at State

OKLAHOMA CITY — Guthrie golfer Maely Beeby saved her best performance for the biggest stage. Beeby carded a 22-over-par 94 at the Class 5A state tournament on Monday, May 5, 2025 to finish first among five Blue Jays who competed and 35th overall.

State Bound!

The Guthrie High School girls tennis team is headed to the state tournament after finishing as runner-up at the regional competition hosted Monday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center. Holland Hall claimed the regional title, while Guthrie finished second and Bishop McGuinness took third.

Your district champion Guthrie Lady Jays slow-pitch softball team travels to Washington High School this Thursday for the Class 5A regional slow-pitch tournament, where they’ll play for a shot at a state berth.

Bluejays finish 2nd, 4th at Suburban Conference Championships

The GHS varsity track and field teams raced for conference supremacy on Friday, with the Lady Jays earning runner-up and the Bluejay boys grabbing fourth at the Suburban Conference Championships at Carl Albert middle school.Guthrie saw wins in nine of 34 total events with 13-more top-three finishes.

Wild Week to End Guthrie's District Season

Lady Jays' softball crowned district champs

The GHS slow-pitch softball team got one step closer to a state playoff berth Tuesday after winning their own hosted Class 5A district tournament. Coach Kara Tarrant and the Lady Jays went 3-0 in their tournament games in what was the program’s first time hosting districts.
