GHS girls tennis takes runner-up at 5A Public Schools Championships

Guthrie’s girls’ varsity tennis team earned another top finish over the weekend after winning second at the Phil Barnes 5A Public Schools Championships at the OKC Tennis Center on Saturday, April 19.

Guthrie’s varsity baseball team took a beating last week, losing four out of five games during five straight days, including back-to-back district games against Noble. On Tuesday, April 8, Guthrie traveled to Noble to face the Bears.

Bluejay Athletes Compete at Special Olympics Regionals

A number of Guthrie High School Special Olympians earned ribbons at the Cowboy Country Regional last Saturday in Red Rock.The Logan County event took place at Frontier High School and featured seven local teams including Team Guthrie, GHS’ official Special Olympics squad.

Guthrie swings for sixth at Carl Albert Invitational

GHS boys’ golf gathered with 21 schools to compete in the 2025 Carl Albert Invitational Monday morning, pulling off a sixth-place win at Midwest City’s John Conrad Golf Course.
