Guthrie Youth Rodeo Holds Second Event

The Guthrie Youth Rodeo held its second event over the weekend at the Logan County Fairgrounds. Now in its first year, the new organization aims to give kids a safe, supportive place to learn the sport of rodeo, from pulling ribbons off goats to roping and barrel racing.

Bike Night at The Rock Kicks Off Summer in Downtown Guthrie

Motorcycle engines roared and music echoed through downtown Guthrie Friday evening as riders and families gathered for Bike Night at The Rock, a free community event held June 13 at 143 E. Harrison Ave.The event, which ran from 6 to 9 p.m.

Gallo, Hebensperger honored at All-State fastpitch banquet

A pair of Guthrie High athletes were honored with All-State hardware on Saturday.Lady Jays’ softball players Haley Gallo and Ava Hebensperger received their official 2024 Class 5A Large West All-State plaques at the Oklahoma High School Fastpitch Coaches Association’s annual award banquet.

‘Guthrie vs. Everybody’ event brought boxing showdown to Guthrie

Guthrie’s Kress Event Center became the home of a blossoming boxing event Saturday, May 31. The 2025 Guthrie vs. Everybody fight night on May 31 featured four professional fights at the East Oklahoma Avenue location, where spectators witnessed a handful of Guthrie residents go at it in the ring.
