Elementary track meet to honor former GHS coach, AD Boxley

An inaugural track meet for local elementary students, held in honor of longtime_Guthrie High track, cross country coach and athletic director Gary Boxley, will be held this spring at the Clay Tarter Complex behind the school._ Current track and field coach_ Bryce Balenseifen made the announcement, saying the meet will take place Friday, May 17.

Friends of the Guthrie Public Library Annual Used Book Sale

The Annual Used Book Sale of the Friends of the Guthrie Public Library will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024. As in past years, the sale will be in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Presbyterian Church, located at 102 E. Noble, in Guthrie. The sale hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Logan County 4-H Illustrated Presentation Contest Winners

Saturday, Jan. 13, 4-Hers gathered to practice their presentation skills using technology, posters, and hands-on demonstrations. Congratulations to all who participated in this 4-H designed exercise to help build public speaking skills by sharing personal interests with others. Voter registration deadline approaches

Friday, February 9, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the March 5 Presidential Preferential Primary Election and Logan County Special Election, Logan County Election Board Secretary Sheleen Winscott said today.
