Guthrie Noon Lions Club donates to “Make Promises Happen” program

Recently, the Guthrie Lions Cub donated $450 to assist in the mission of “Make Promises Happen”. The program annually assists hundreds of disabled “campers” at their Central Oklahoma Camp location just southeast of Guthrie. With three age groupings of camps available, the program is achieving its mission of “Changing Lives, One Camp at a Time”. Lion Club Member Gary Weeks (r) is shown presenting the donation to Camp Director of Marketing, Cody Lawson (L). The camps rely on donations and volunteer support and as Cody explained to the club, “We provide an experience and environment that is a life changing; for the “camper”, for the volunteer, and for the “camper’s” family!” The Guthrie Noon Lions Club is honored to assist this mission with a financial donation.
