M-O FFA Receives National Honors

Congratulations to the Mulhall-Orlando FFA Chapter on receiving the 3 Star National Award. The award is designed to recognize FFA chapters that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters must improve operations using standards that emphasize growing leaders, strengthening agriculture, and building communities. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership. The 3 Star Chapter Award is the highest achievement a Chapter can get.

US Department of Education to Match Donations for Innovative UCO STLR Program

The U.S. Department of Education will match all donations to a campaign benefiting the University of Central Oklahoma’s Student Transformative Learning Record (STLR). All donations made to the Student Transformation Learning Endowment through the UCO Foundation will be matched up to $1 million through Sept. 30, 2020. The STLR initiative, implemented in 2014, seeks to further the development of UCO students beyond their traditional academic degree work.
