Guthrie FFA Brings Home the Bacon:

There’s something special about sitting around the dinner table with family, sharing a meal that brings everyone together. Maybe it’s the smell of sausage cooking on a Saturday morning, the sound of bacon sizzling in the pan, or simply knowing that the food on the table is helping support something bigger than dinner.

This year, Guthrie FFA members are turning that idea into an opportunity to support their chapter through the annual Blue & Gold Meat Sale, running fromAugust 18 through September 8.

For Guthrie FFA members, the sale is about more than simply taking orders. It gives students the opportunity to practice communication, build relationships throughout the community and learn the responsibility that comes with representing their chapter. Every conversation, order and sale helps contribute to the success of Guthrie FFA and the opportunities available to its members.

The fundraiser also gives community members an easy way to support agricultural education while bringing quality food home to their families. Whether you’re stocking the freezer with sausage, picking up bacon for breakfast or grabbing chicken tenders for an easy meal, every purchase makes a difference.

Want to place an order? Contact any Guthrie FFA member to make your purchase and support the chapter. If you know a Guthrie FFA member, reach out to them directly to see what products are available and place your order before the September 8 deadline.

As the sale comes to a close, Guthrie FFA encourages friends, family, alumni and community members to get involved. When you purchase from a Guthrie FFA member, you aren’t just buying meat—you’re investing in students, agriculture and the future of the Guthrie FFA chapter.

So the next time you hear, “Would you like to buy some Blue & Gold?”, remember that a simple purchase can make a lasting impact.

Support Guthrie FFA. Support agricultural education. And bring a little more blue and gold to your dinner table!
