Flock camera photo leads to stolen car arrests

Last week two individuals were arrested in a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located on Sooner Rd near Camp Rd. Officers were alerted to the stolen vehicle by the Flock cameras. Flock cameras will send a notification of stolen vehicles to the Police Department. Once the Flock camera sent the notifications, Officers located the vehicle and took two subjects into custody.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Guthrie Job Corps student, Logan Moon. Logan is from Norman. He is currently enrolled in the Office Administration program. Upon completion, Logan plans to do a second program in plumbing. His future aspirations are to have his own plumbing business. Pictured with Logan is Dr. Michael Norman, a new chiropractor on South Division and Rotary Vice-President, Tyler Calvert.

Two locals ride Cinderella’s Coach to the College World Series

Two Logan County boys have been key contributors to the astonishing run of Oral Roberts University to this year’s College World Series. Guthrie alum Evan Kowalski, a right-handed pitcher, and Edmond North grad Caleb Isaacs, a lefty, worked hard and admirably on the mound over the course of the 2023 season for the Golden Eagles.
