The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Guthrie Job Corps student Kendle Morrison. Kendle said s from Longview, TX. He is 72% complete in electrical house wiring, has received his GED, and has been certified in forklift, OSHA, and CPR. After completion, Kendle plans to go to college and start an electrician business. Miss Mattie, We are having a serious issue with our neighbors and others in the neighborhood. They will not stop feeding our cats! Our two indoor/outdoor cats had become really bored indoors while we are at work, so we gave them access to the outside through the doggy door.

The graduating class of 47 members from diverse backgrounds and industries completed an intense nine-month program that exposed them to critical issues facing the state, developed their leadership skills, and fostered relationships with other leaders from across Oklahoma.

With the June 13 Election approaching, County Election Board officials are reminding voters of Election Day laws. It is a crime for any person other than voters and election officials to remain within 30 feet of a ballot box while an election is in place.
