The Logan County Conservation District has announced that funds are available for cost-share assistance on selected conservation practices benefiting soil and water conservation. The State of Oklahoma has provided limited funds to conservation district across the state to help landowners implement measures that protect soil and water resources.

“The great advantage of the Conservation Cost-Share Program for Oklahoma is that it is a locallyled program,” said Chris Hopfer, chairman of the Logan County Conservation District. “Our conservation district selects which of the available conservation practices to provide assistance on.”

Conservation practices available for cost-share assistance through the Logan County Conservation District include the following: Brush Management, Water Well, Pond (new construction only).

The percentage of costshare varies according to the conservation practice to be constructed. The district will be accepting applications starting March 17 through March 31, 2023.
