The City of Guthrie’s February sales tax and use (internet) tax revenue is up again from December business numbers.
Guthrie received $737,721.48 in sales tax revenue this month. That amount is 8% higher, or $54,336.81 more, as compared to the same month last year at $683,384.67.
The City is 9% higher cumulatively as compared to 2022, or $292,392.33, while year-to-date collection is $3,610,907, which is 6% more than the YTD projection of $3,417,603 (or $193,304 more).
The City also received $128,780.33 in use tax revenue this month. This amount is 10% higher, or $11,235.45 more, as compared to the same month last year at $117,544.88. Also, it is 3% higher cumulatively as compared to 2022, or $12,911.03 more.
Year-to-date collection for use tax is $505,072, which is 10% more than the YTD projection of $461,040 (or $44,032 more).
