Rena Kaye (Cunningham) Lindemann joined her Heavenly Father Friday, September 24, 2021 in Guthrie, Oklahoma where she was born and raised. She was born February 9, 1937. She graduated from Guthrie High School in 1955.

Rena moved to Tulsa, Ok and married Roy Eugene Lindemann on May 29, 1958 and bought an acreage in Inola, Ok. where they raised Tennessee Walking Horses. They purchased the Talley Hardware store in Claremore, Ok. in 1968 and Rena ran it until 1973 when she opened “Rena’s Cards and Gift Shop” and then expanded to another store “Rena’s Too” which specialized in delicious fudges. Rena retired from the stores after 25 years. She took a part-time job at the J.M. Davis Gun Museum in Claremore, Ok. until her health condition prevented her from continuing. She did volunteer work in making Braille Bibles and Meals on Wheels in Claremore as well.

Rena has always belonged to the Lutheran Church, mainly Redeemer Lutheran in Claremore, OK. before moving to the Edmond/Guthrie area.

Her husband, Roy passed away 8-7-1995. Rena’s special friend, Ted Perdue, was taken suddenly in a car accident 9-3-2001.

Rena is preceded in death by her parents, Rowe Silas and Effie Jane Sade Cunningham, her brothers, Francis Lee and Frank Sade Cunningham, her husband, Roy E. Lindemann, special close friends, Donald Dean and Eleanor Pearl Hunter Lenaburg, and many relatives and friends from church.

She leaves behind her godchildren: Jalanna Jean Lenaburg of Moore, Ok; James Dean Lenaburg of Keller, TX; and Jerry Don Lenaburg of Fairfax, VA.; Cousin Kaye Branson of Crescent, Ok. and many extended family members.

Visitation at the Smith-Gallo Funeral Home was scheduled for Monday, Sept. 27, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Graveside services were scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Sept. 28, 2021 at Oakview Cemetery in Crescent, OK. Chaplain Gene Owen was presiding.
