ODOT TAP Grant Project Awarded

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) has recently approved the contract with Ellsworth Construction, LLC to make upgrades to sidewalks and intersections along Division Street (Highway 77) in Guthrie. The project aims to increase accessibility on the sidewalks along Division from the alleyway south of Cleveland Ave. to the alleyway south of Harrison Avenue. ODOT has awarded the contract to Ellsworth Construction, LLC in the amount of $1,068,600.20.

The Guthrie Rotary Club Student of the Week is Katelynn Siess. She is the daughter of Sean and Tonia Siess. Katelynn is active with the Pied Pipers, Treble Concert Choir and softball. She is a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, Katelynn plans to major in Geology at OSU. Voter Registration Deadline Approaches

Friday, December 15, is the last day to apply for voter registration in order to be eligible to vote in the January 9 City of Guthrie Special Municipal Election, Logan County Election Board Secretary Sheleen Winscott said today.

Candidate Filing Begins For Board of Education

Candidate filing for the Board of Education begins Monday, December 4 for four Logan County school districts. Those who wish to file for a Board of Education office must submit a Declaration of Candidacy to the Logan County Election Board December 4, 5 or 6, between the hours of 8 a.m.
