As of 3:30 p.m., there are no power outages on the OG&E system. OG&E has restoration personnel ready to restore power as quickly and safely as possible to address any issues.

CONTROLLED SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

Per the Southwest Power Pool, temporary service interruptions remain on hold for now. This could change at any time as extreme cold weather in the region, combined with the high demand for natural gas, continues. We will make every effort to communicate with customers about service interruption and estimated restoration should mandated interruptions resume.

Given the rapidly evolving situation, prior notification is not guaranteed. We are strongly encouraging customers to prepare for the possibility of controlled service interruptions as these conditions continue.

OG&E does not have the ability to exclude a particular home on a circuit experiencing a controlled service interruption. Customers with concerns due to life-sustaining equipment should contact their physician for guidance.

              ENERGY CONSERVATION NEEDED

Service interruptions are mandated by SPP in order to manage regional system load and avoid protracted power outages. We commend our customers for doing their part to conserve power as their efforts are making a difference to minimize further interruptions.

We urge all customers to take these actions below to conserve electricity.
