The bond issue for a new school building, improvements, and buses in the Coyle School District was
soundly defeated on October 10 for the second time in 2023.
Unlike the last vote that only failed by 14 votes, this one lost with 361 NO votes (62 percent) and 226
yes votes (28 percent)
The proposal for new buses also failed with 345 NO votes (59 percent) and 242 yes votes (41 percent).
The issue was a hot topic on multiple social media platforms by both sides. The Coyle Board of Education will not meet again until November.
