Murillo joins 1,000 point club in season finale

It was a tough week for the Lady Bluejays as they had three games to finish up the season and went 1-2 on the week, beating Southeast and losing to Del City and Piedmont. The good news was that senior Anjewl Murillo went over 1,000 points scored in he Bluejays career of four years.

‘89er Committee Announces 2023 Button and Parade Marshal

The ‘89er Committee has released the image of the 2023 Commemorative Button for the ‘89er Days Parade and Celebration. The theme - decided by a poll on Facebook - will be “Pioneer Women,” and the committee chose Judith Carter Horton, founder of the Excelsior Library, to be the face on the button.

Ten Guthrie wrestlers head to state

Guthrie High School’s wrestling team qualified eight boys and two girls for the state meet this weekend at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds Arena. Action takes place Friday and Saturday.

County Commissioner announces resignation

District 2 Commissioner Kody Ellis announced Wednesday at the Logan County B o a rd of Commis sioners that he was resigning The resignation is effective Feb. 28. “I just want everybody to know that I will be filing a formal resignation,” Ellis said.
