Late Monday, Guthrie High School Boys Basketball Coach, Sean Morgan submitted his resignation. He notified GHS Athletic Director, Jon Chappell, that he had accepted a teaching position with Stillwater Public Schools.

The verdict came through late last night in the trial of Timothy Greene on charges of sexual battery, kidnapping, and grand larceny. The jury took nearly four and a half hours of deliberations to reach their verdict in this week’s trial, which began this past Monday.

At 3:53pm this afternoon, Guthrie Fire-EMS and Logan County Sheriff's deputies responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 33 and Broadway, just west of Guthrie. Two vehicles, a white Buick Encore and a silver Chevy Silverado, were involved.
