Last week, the Guthrie Chamber held an official Ribbon Cutting for Chamber Investor and new business, A Novel Idea Bookshop. This new bookstore is in downtown Guthrie at 116 W. Oklahoma Ave. They offer a variety of books, gift items, shirts, and host various book clubs.

Shooting their highest score of the season, Guthrie AJROTC defeated Hendrickson MCJROTC 867.6 to 808.2 in the 2024 National Air Rifle New Shooter League. Guthrie AJROTCwasledbyMason Triplett who shot a 227.3. The remaining contributing members were Tyler Lawson, Garrett Looney, and Tanner Lawson.

Unlicensed Home Warranty Company Ordered to Cease-and-Desist Operations in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Insurance Department (OID) issued a Cease-and-Desist Order against First Premier Home Warranty Corp. for unauthorized sale of home warranty contracts in Oklahoma. Effective immediately, the company is required to halt all sales activities in the state.
