Jays' wrestlers take 9th at Blackwell tourney

The Guthrie Bluejays wrestled in their final action of the 2024-25 regular season with a ninthplace finish at Blackwell’s Big 4+4 Tournament over the weekend.Coach Jadon Davenport’s team totaled 65.5 points when all was said and done with one first-place win by senior Bryson Hall.

Cashion takes down Watonga on Senior Night

Cashion wrestling concluded its regular season schedule Monday evening with a home dual against the Watonga Eagles, winning 51-24 after a series of falls and even more forfeits.It was also senior night at CHS, which saw three WIldcats honored at mid-mat before the dual got underway.

Bluejays narrowly fall to Blanchard in homecoming dual

Guthrie wrestling ended its 2024-25 dual slate with a head-to-head battle against twelfth-ranked Blanchard on Thursday. Unfortunately for coach Jaden Davenport’s team, the Bluejays couldn’t pull out the win on homecoming night, falling 37-34 in a dual that came down to the final seconds.

Guthrie, Cashion football players make 2025 All Star team

A handful of Logan County football players picked up postseason honors Thursday as the Oklahoma Coaches Association announced their selections for the 2025 All-State and All Star Oklahoma high school football teams.

Cashion girls win County Line Tournament, boys finish fourth

For the first time in eight years, Cashion girls’ basketball are champions of the 2025 County Line Tournament after sweeping through the girls’ bracket and defeating Riverside in the final, 50-45.

Bluejays outlast Duncan on senior night

Guthrie wrestling picked up its first home dual victory of 2025​​ Thursday, winning 41-33 over the sixth-ranked Duncan Demons on senior night. The Bluejays honored three senior boys’ wrestlers, three senior girls’ wrestlers and a senior trainer before the match kicked off from GHS.
