GHS senior runner Peyton Read signs with NWOSU

Guthrie High School cross country and track athlete Peyton Read made her college pledge official on Wednesday by signing her national letter of intent to Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Read was joined at the GHS library by family, friends, coaches and other school officials.

Jays suffer road dual loss at Blackwell

Guthrie wrestling's first dual back from winter break ended in a road loss to top-ranked Class 3A squad, Blackwell, Monday night. The Bluejays lost their third dual of this season by a score of 67-4 after picking up just one match victory on the night.

Bishop Kelley's hot hands too much for Jays to handle

Guthrie boys’ basketball played its first home game of the season Friday night in what was also their final action of the calendar year.Unfortunately for the Bluejays, they couldn’t overcome a hot shooting night by Bishop Kelley, falling to the Comets, 74-48.
