The Cashion Wildcats made it two in a row on Sept. 10 when they outscored Minco 48-6 in Cashion in a non-district contest to improve to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Thomas this weekend to play the Terriers for the third time in a year.

LadyCats split softball games with Coyle and Crescent

The Cashion LadyCats traveled to Coyle on Sept. 2 to face off with the Coyle Lady Bluejackets. Cashion would jump out to a 9-0 lead after the first three innings. Coyle would get it to 12-3 before the visitors exploded for nine runs in the fifth inning to end the game at 21-3 by the run rule.

Wildcats, Tigers find win column, Bluejackets lose season opener

The Cashion Wildcats and Crescent Tigers got in the win column this past week (Sept.3) with road wins to even their records at 1-1 on the season.
Crescent traveled out to the Shawnee area and took on North Rock Creek, winning the game 30-12.

Lady Bluejays drop 4-3 game to Piedmont

It was a playoff atmosphere on Aug. 31 when the Guthrie Lady Bluejays hooked up with Piedmont in a key district softball game in Guthrie. The Lady Bluejays would have the tying run on third base in the bottom of the seventh inning before dropping a 4-3 decision.

Oklahoma Eagles Win OKC National Summer Championship

Jonah Jenkins stole the ball late in overtime and scored, getting fouled and converted from the free throw line in the process.
The last three points the Oklahoma Eagles scored as a team couldn’t have been bigger.

Bluejays blank the Wolves 33-0, Home Opener Friday night

The Guthrie Bluejays opened their 2021 football season with a 33-0 shutout of the Shawnee Wolves in Shawnee on Aug. 27. The Bluejays played a great game and took advantage of multiple Shawnee errors to score at will.
