Oklahoma Sports Heritage Museum donates $15,000 to Guthrie athletics

The Oklahoma Sports Heritage Museum Board has announced a $15,000 donation to the Guthrie High School athletic department.The gift will help purchase two four-wheel utility vehicles for the school’s baseball and softball programs and fund a kiosk to display GHS sports history.

On Saturday, September 20th, eighteen high school marching bands performed in the preliminary round at the Deer Creek Invitational Marching Contest, twelve of those bands made it to the finals round.

Cashion and Coyle rolled to big road wins to remain undefeated in high school football, while Crescent let one slip away for its first loss.Class A-I Cashion improved to 3-0 with a 40-16 win at Class A-II Ringling on Friday.
