Will Hurd

Will Hurd passed away March 12, 2020.  Born William Michael Hurd in Mayfield, California November 22, 1944 he was the eldest son of Billy Ray Hurd and pretty Mary Ellen. Will was instantly dubbed Mike by the family, and Mike he remains to family and friends of his youth.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Elizabeth, and three wonderful sons, David P. Hurd and wife, Kristin, James M. Hurd and Thomas J. Hurd as well as grandson David Hurd (Davy).

Faye Marie Burris

Faye Marie Burris, 88, of Guthrie, OK passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 in Guthrie.
She was born July 9, 1931 in Luther, OK to Walker and Annie Mae (Johnson)
Goodmon.

Barbara Madeline Metcalf

Barbara Madeline Metcalf, age 74 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away suddenly on March 10, 2020 and was welcomed home with loving arms by her beloved husband Kenneth. She was born on May 6, 1945 in Neptune, New Jersey to Raymond and Erna (Marcks) Hilman.

On May 29, 1964 Barbara married Kenneth Metcalf, Sr. in Halifax, North Carolina. Of this union three children were born, Kathy, Rikki, and Ken Metcalf, Jr.

Glen E. Coffman

Body

Glen E. Coffman, 69, passed away in Kansas City, KS on March 3, 2020. He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Coffman and one aunt, Erma “Annie” Landers.

Surviving family members include Glen’s children, Brandy Hardy, Brandon Moad, Michelle Splittgaber, and Bruce Coffman; father, Glen L. Coffman; brother, Terry Coffman; 7 grandchildren; and several other family members and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 3:00pm at Crescent Cemetery, 701 W. Adams, Crescent, Oklahoma 73208.

Leslie J. Canning

Body

Leslie J. Canning was born in Guthrie, May 22, 1937 to Emmitt J. and Martha Viola (Ruhl) Canning. He spent all his life in Guthrie, graduating high school in 1956.  He first went to work for Smith Funeral Home and then moved on to work for Crabtree Gas Station.
