Early voting begins Thursday February 9 for voters in Logan County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at their County Election Board.

Bears edge Bluejays with four seconds left

The Guthrie Bluejays jumped out to a 12-0 and a 12-2 first quarter lead against the Noble Bears on Homecoming Night, January 27, but would lose the game 50-48 when the Bears scored a basket with four seconds left in the game for the winning basket. The Bluejays had one more chance but a shot buy Corbin Witt at the buzzer rimmed out.

Cummings, Gibson named 2023 Crescent BB Homecoming Queen and King

Coyle’s McLaurin, Holder named BB Queen and King, ‘Jackets sweep Oilton

It was homecoming at Coyle High School on Friday night January 27. Seniors Naliyah McLaurin and Dillon Holder were named Homecoming Queen and King in pregame ceremonies. McLaurin had 12 points. The Bluejackets won the nightcap 67-44 as Howell, Lemons, Alex Jennings, and Joaquin Amaro all were in double figures. King is Dillan Holder and the Queen is Naliyah McLaurin.
