County Approves Series of Contracts

Logan County’s Board of Commissioners last week approved a resolution participating in the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma’s Self-Insured Fund (ACCO-SIF) Workman’s Compensation Program for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 and selecting the premium payment option of $202,989.00.

Wildfire Relief Grants from Ministerial Alliance Underway for Logan, Payne Counties

In response to the wildfires that left charred remnants and smoldering ash in their wake, the Guthrie Ministerial Alliance has announced the availability of relief grants to assist uninsured and insured fire victims through Logan and Payne County.Applications must be submitted by June 23.

Hall of Fame Banker Anderson Leaves Long Legacy, dies at 97

Longtime banker and F&M Bank CEO Johnny Vinn Anderson, an Oklahoma Bankers Hall of Fame inductee, passed away Saturday at age 97.Anderson was born June 16, 1927 in Choctaw, Okla., to Vin and Wilma Anderson.In 1945, at only 17 years old, Anderson enlisted in the U.S.
