Summer is here and things are heating up in Guthrie! Here are some upcoming events you will not want to miss: June 30th-July 1st Here’s your last chance to see Little Shop of Horrors at the Pollard Theatre! Visit thepollard.org to purchase tickets.
July 1st- Red Brick Nights and the Annual Fireworks Show from Fireworkz a Poppin’! Enjoy live music, food trucks and vendors. Stop by and purchase your fireworks from Fireworkz a Poppin’! This event is sponsored by many local businesses. Invite your friends! You won’t want to miss this.
July 3rd-Independence Day Celebration at Cimarron National Golf Course. The fun starts at 5:00PM. Enjoy live music, food trucks, a full-service bar, raffles, a car show, 50/50 game, the Cimarron Grill and a fireworks show! Bring your lawn chairs or blanket to sit on and enjoy the evening as a family. (No ice chest or outside food allowed.)
July 6th- Guthrie Chamber Investor Class: Do you know how to get the most out of your Chamber investment? Join us on July 29th at 3:00PM at City Hall to learn all about your investment with the Guthrie Chamber. Register at guthriechamber. com.
July 8th- Guthrie Ghost Walk Tour – other dates available in July as well. Check out guthrieghostwalk. com. This is a great event for community members and visitors.

July 22nd- The Hunt Brothers Band at Double Stop Fiddle Shop. Andrew (fiddle & mandolin) and Jonathan (banjo & guitar) began playing at a very young age. Mentored by Byron Berline and John Hickman, they learned well and fast. Sam Grounds (guitar & vocals) won the Chet Atkins flat-picking competition while still a teenager. You’ll be amazed at the music that comes out of this talented threesome. You are invited to become a part of this exciting evening of music! Tickets for addmission are $20.
