The Guthrie Rotary Club Students of the Week are Anjewl Murillo and Corbin Witt. Anjewl is the daughter of Candace and Luis Murillo. She is in Heritage Club and Spanish Club. Anjewl has played basketball and track for 4 years. She has been on the All-Conference basketball team for 4 years and Defensive Player of the Year. She was the State winner in the 400m dash. Anjewl is exploring her options and offers on her college choice.
Corbin Witt is the son of Eric and Jennifer Witt. He has played basketball for 3 years and is a member of the Science Club and the Key Club.
Corbin is a member of the National Honor Society. He is a manager at Arby’s. After graduation, Corbin plans to attend Rose State for basics and transfer to UCO to study Criminal Justice.
