Family Programs:
Story Time at Mineral Wells Park, Wednesdays, September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th 10:30AM – 11AM:Join us for a story, songs, dancing, and grab and go crafts (while supplies last). For notifications, reminders, and cancellations text @guthriep to 81010, this will add you to our Remind 101 contact list.
 
Stop, Stay, Read! Reading with Dogs, Wednesday, September 8th & 22nd at 4PM: Read to our K9 friends Handsome Rob and Elinore! Reading to dogs has been proven to help develop skills of reading out loud, plus they Love the attention. Stop in to say hi to our new friends and owner Sandi Colby.
 
Learning to Loom: Hat Making for SWAK, Thursdays, September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th 3:30 – 5PM: Learn a new skill while helping kids in our community. Every Halloween SWAK passes our hats during the trick or treat walk, let’s help them make some!
 
Teen Program:
Teen Library Council- Saturday, September 11th from 11am-12pm: TLC is a group of teenage volunteers.  Our purpose is to create teen library events that appeal to Guthrie teenagers.  If you are interested in joining, please register to be a member of TLC at the Guthrie Public Library’s Circulation Desk.
 
Teen Debate Party- Monday, September 20th from 5-6pm: In bracket play, it is the battle of the wits! Go head to head regarding a variety of topics to be crowned the “Know it all of the Night!”  
 
Adult Programs:
Historical Document Class- Wednesday, September 15th from 5-6pm: In this class, we encourage engagement with historical primary documents while providing the opportunity to discuss the document and what it means to others. Medicare Class- Thursday, September 23rd from 3-4:30pm: Phycian Mutual will educate attendees about Medicare including details about  Medicare and program changes. This class is designed for people who are turning 65 or already on Medicare.
