The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics was back in Logan County on Monday to execute another search warrant on a marijuana farm located at 5501 N. Midwest Blvd. The warrant was a follow-up to a warrant served April 23 at another farm on South Midwest Boulevard where 11,000 marijuana plants were seized and destroyed.

Agents seized 4,700 plants, 50 pounds of harvested marijuana buds, and guns. “While they are owned by different people, the farms are tied together as part of the same criminal enterprise,” OBN Public Information Officer Mark Woodward said.

The OBN also found evidence there had been multiple grows and harvesting already done. No arrests were made Monday.

The OBN has issued arrest warrants on the first search warrant for Juan Xie, 35, Wen Cai Yang, 64, Dong Qiang Yang, 41, Ronghua Chen, 38, and Dong Li Yang, 39, who all list 4355 S. Midwest Blvd. as their address for the first grow operation. As of press time, only Yang and Chen have been found. They made a court appearance and posted a $50,000 bond. This is the second arrest for Yang and Chen as they were arrested in April with the $67,000 in cash that was seized.

The Guthrie News Leader will continue to follow the story as the investigation is ongoing.
