Two people were killed Thursday morning as a result of a fatality collision at State Highway 74 and Cimarron Boulevard in Cimarron City.
David Wesley Rout, age 82, of Crescent, driving a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500, was pronounced deceased on scene by Miller EMS and transported by the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City.
McKenzie Hunter Moore, age 28, of Cashion, driving a 2015 Dodge Durango, was pronounced deceased on scene by Miller EMS, and was transported by the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol incident report, seatbelts were not in use in Rout’s vehicle, but seatbelts were in use in Moore’s vehicle.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
OHP was assisted on-scene by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Crescent Police and Crescent Fire Department and Miller EMS.
