The Mulhall-Orlando livestock judging teams had an outstanding week of competition at the BIG 3 Livestock Judging Contest, earning top team and individual placings across multiple divisions. Members competed in sheep, beef, swine, meats, and stockman, showcasing the hard work and dedication they have put in throughout the summer.
The Senior FFA team finished an impressive 3rd Overall, while Junior 4-H Team 1 earned 4th Overall and Junior 4-H Team 2 placed 20th Overall. Individually, Dax Inman finished 3rd Overall, highlighting a strong performance throughout the contest.
In the Sheep division, the Senior FFA team placed 7th, Junior 4-H Team 1 earned 3rd, and Junior 4-H Team 2 finished 15th. Dax Inman also placed 6th Overall Individual.
The teams continued their success in Meats, where Junior 4-H Team 1 earned a 2nd-place finish, Senior FFA placed 8th, and Junior 4-H Team 2 finished 7th. Nicholas Brutchin placed 7th individually, while Beckett Wiss earned a 9th-place individual finish.
In Beef, the Senior FFA team placed 7th, Junior 4-H Team 1 finished 14th, Dax Inman placed 5th individually, and Eme Pool earned a 7thplace individual finish.
The Swine contest brought more strong results, with the Senior FFA team placing 4th and Junior 4-H Team 1 earning 2nd. Junior 4-H Team 2 finished 14th. Nicholas Brutchin placed 4th individually, McKinley Graves earned 11th individually, and Dax Inman finished as the 2nd Overall Individual.
The week concluded with the Stockman contest, where the Junior 4-H team was named Champion Team. Nicholas Brutchin earned 3rd High Individual, and Junior 4-H Team 2 finished 4th overall.
The success at BIG 3 reflects the countless hours these students have dedicated to practicing livestock evaluation, developing critical thinking skills, and working together as a team. Mulhall-Orlando is proud of each competitor for representing the chapter and community with excellence, sportsmanship, and determination.
