The Guthrie Police Department FOP Lodge 105 is hosting a basketball tournament to help fund their annual “Christmas with Cops” program. On April 8th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Three events: Three-on-Three, Three Point Contest, and Free Throw, will be held at the Guthrie High School Gym at 200 North Crooks Drive.
Participants must pre-register by March 25th, by contacting Detective Vasquez at (405) 282-0093 or by email at fvasquez@cityofguthrie.com. The cost is $10 per person per event.
Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners in the Three-on-Three and to 1st Place winners only in the Three Point and Free Throw. The department hopes that a lot of people will participate in this fun event.
All proceeds will benefit the “Christmas with Cops” annual event. Each year, donations are collected so that the Guthrie Police can take local needy children shopping for their own Christmas gifts. The Guthrie Police Department FOP Lodge 105 accepts donations for this event all through the year.
