On September 22, the Mulhall- Orlando FFA Chapter Officer Team attended COLT Conference, or Chapter Officer Leadership Training. The conference brought chapter officers together to develop their leadership skills, learn about teamwork, and connect with other FFA members from across the state.

Along with attending the conference, Mulhall-Orlando FFA Reporter Braylea Lawson had the opportunity to serve on the COLT Conference Opening and Closing Ceremony team. Lawson served alongside Paige Redman of Timberlake, Maggie Carroll of Cashion, Logan Snider of Chisholm, Rylan Compston of Mooreland, and Callen Frantz of Balko. The Opening and Closing Ceremony team is selected by the Oklahoma FFA State Officer Team.

Throughout the conference, officers learned about different leadership styles and how each individual can contribute to a team. The activities focused on recognizing the strengths of others and understanding how different personalities and leadership styles can work together to create a stronger team.

COLT Conference gave chapter officers an opportunity to grow as leaders, build connections with other FFA members, and bring new ideas and skills back to their individual chapters. The experiences and lessons from the conference will continue to help the Mulhall-Orlando FFA Chapter Officer Team throughout the year.
