OSU Extension welcomes Jackson Williams as its new Agriculture and 4-H educator. He is originally from a small town in Central Arkansas called Greenbrier where he grew up in a rodeo family: he, his dad, and his brother all rodeoed. Jackson completed his Bachelors in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Arkansas-Monticello in 2021 and started work on a Master’s of Plant and Soil Science that fall studying Soil Conservation under Dr. Jason Warren at Oklahoma State University. He plans to complete his degree this December. Jackson has a passion for helping the agricultural community and helping people, which is why he chose to go into Extension work. Jackson still spends his free time rodeoing, training his duck dog, Lucy, hunting, fishing, or playing music. He said he already loves living in our community and is looking forward to his work in Logan County. If you have a problem or question related to agriculture, call Jackson at the OSU Extension Office
