New Camp Safety Law Creates Local Oversight Requirements

National Commander visits American Legion Post #58

Recently, the National Commander of the American Legion, Mr. Dan Wiley, visited Guthrie’s American Legion Post #58 in their new facility. Lebron Post #58 has been a fixture in the Guthrie community since 1919, and recently relocated from downtown to their new complex on Rush Road.

Family fun takes center stage at Crescent Glory Days

The community came together Saturday, July 4, for the annual Crescent Glory Days celebration, a daylong Independence Day festival filled with patriotic spirit, family-friendly activities and hometown traditions.

Guthrie’s Downtown Downbeat strikes a high note

Hundreds of residents and visitors gathered in Historic Downtown Guthrie on Saturday evening for the inaugural Downtown Downbeat, a new community event hosted by the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce.

54th Annual Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership Camp

Patriotism on parade at Guthrie’s seventh annual Freedom Ride

Families, cyclists, runners, walkers and even four-legged companions filled the streets of historic downtown Guthrie on the morning of July 4 as the community celebrated the seventh annual Freedom Ride.
