Guthrie High School graduating senior, Marion Stewart, was awarded the $1,200 scholarship given each year to a Logan County student. Marion has a 4.0 grade point average, is involved in 4-H and FFA, and plans to study Architecture at Oklahoma State University. She is the daughter of the late Carl & Donna Stewart. Marion attended with Gail O’Neil, her stepmom, and was recognized at the County Council meeting on May 4. Marion expressed a summary of the Logan County OHCE on her written application, “The Oklahoma Home and Community Education is in partnership with Oklahoma State University. The OHCE in Logan County addresses local affairs and educates on the basic welfare of the community. I have seen the OHCE in action at many 4-H events, such as sewing workshops and bake shows.”

Congratulations to Marion Stewart from the Logan County Oklahoma Home and Community Education. We want to also express thanks to all the applicants this year for applying and wish the best on their future endeavors.
