TAKE NOTICE that the Board of County Commissioners of Logan County, Oklahoma will conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 7:00 o’clock p.m. in the Educatio Building at the Logan County Fairgrounds, 215 Fairgrounds Road, Guthrie, Oklahoma, to consider the petition of Nicholas Scott Dean to annex the following described territory and lands situated in Logan County, Oklahoma, towit:
All of Sections 24, 25, 32, 33 ,34, 35, and 36; all property located south of Cottonwood Creek in Section 13; the South Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26; the South Half of Section 27; and the East Half of Section 31, all in Township 15 North, Range 4 West of the Indian Meridian, Logan County, Oklahoma; and
All of Sections 19, 30, and 31; and all property south of Cottonwood Creek in Section 18, in Township 15 North, Range 3 West of the Indian Meridian, Logan County, Oklahoma, to the Deer Creek Fire Protection District pursuant to Title 19, Oklahoma Statutes, Section 901.22. Deer Creek Fire Protection District is a fire protection district duly organized and existing under the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
ANY PERSON may appear at the public hearing and protest the annexation of the above described territory to Deer Creek Fire Protection District or the proposed boundaries thereof.
