The summer breezes are blowing through the streets of Guthrie, bringing summertime activities, events, and holidays. Father’s day is upon us. On June 19, it is time again to go out and celebrate dads. Events will be taking place all over Oklahoma to help honor fathers on their special day.
Events across the state include:
• Father’s Day Flytraps on June 18 from 1-2 p.m. at the Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City.
• The third annual Father’s Day Festival which will be located in Oklahoma City’s Scissortail Park on June 19 at 11 a.m.
You can also spend some time by doing something you can both enjoy together such as;
• Watching a favorite movie together
• Gardening
• Building or crafting
• Playing a favorite board or video game
