The Temple of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Guthrie is a host ,and supporter, for many different events throughout the year.
From art awards to benefit walks, it offers a helping hand to support the community in many ways.
On June 25 there will be a benefit walk to support Peppers Ranch. The walk begins at 8 a.m. on the steps of the Masonic Temple and will last about an hour.
Peppers Ranch is a local foster care community focused on helping disadvantaged and abused kids and youths. While the foster families at Pepper’s Ranch live in the same community as one another, their goals are the same as every foster family, be as caring to the kids as possible.
“Peppers Ranch Foster Care Community strives to become home to as many of Oklahoma’s abused and neglected children as possible. By providing the necessary resources and services to foster parents, we sustain a commitment to the children in their care,” the Pepper’s Ranch Website reads.
