The Cashion Wildcats baseball team advanced to Class 2A regional play this weekend after defeating Merritt 10-0 and 10-3 in two games last week in the district action. The Wildcats are currently ranked sixth in the state with a record of 21-5. The Wildcats will be in regional action this weekend and should host being a top eight ranked team.
The Mulhall-Orlando Panthers saw their season come to an end in regional play at No.1 Roff on April 29. The Panthers lost twice to Stuart (13-6 and 11-9) to get eliminated, while beating Kiowa 6-4. The Panthers ended their season with a 19-10 record
The Crescent Tigers would also see their season end abruptly as they lost at home to Fairview (8-6 and 11-1) in two straight games in district action on April 28. The Tigers closed the season at 12-9.
