City addresses water bill issue

Several Guthrie residents got an unpleasant gift to start this holiday season when they opened their December water bills. These residents were shocked to see the massive amounts they owed, substantially higher than their normal amounts.

Langston man nominated for AARP service award

Guthrie Kicks Off Territorial Christmas

Guthrie's annual Lighted Christmas Parade brought many to town to celebrate the opening night of Guthrie's annual Victorian Christmas Walk and associated celebrations. Thousands lined the streets watch the many wonderful floats and fully-lit vehicles.

Guthrie Kiwanis announce auction for needy kids

Guthrie’s Kiwanis Club is hosting their annual Christmas auction on Saturday, December 7, with proceeds used to support Logan County children in need.The all-day auction, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., will be in the fellowship hall at First United Presbyterian Church on 102 East Noble Avenue.

Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America recognizes the sacrifice that many soldiers made fighting for their country by placing Christmas wreaths on their graves. Sponsored by Guthrie’s Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC), the organization needs sponsors and volunteers to continue with their operations.
